Cary Days Fest Sunday June 21st, 2009
Another outstanding show in the books. Buddy (Dr.Woods) does wonders with “Rock-U”. The kids were great tonight. Ended up with 178 images but I should have the pics up soon. Having the entertainment right in the beer tent was interesting. Thanks to Johnny Mrozac and Tommy Hanus for running sound tonight. Another great fireworks show as usual.
A much better night than Fox & Hounds in Schaumburg last night. F&H is a very nice club with a very young clientle. It’s hard to cater to kids who have been listening to hip hop all day but we got some good compliments. My son Eric ran the board and did a good job Saturday night.
See ya at the band shell in Lions Park this Thursday night for the kick-off of the Cary Park District’s Concert In The Park. A 7:00 clock start time.

Docks Bar & Grill Friday June 19th, 2009
What a great night and a great crowd! The new deck is one bodacious structure. It’s gonna increase the crowd that goes to the Docks. Great show as usual. First time I heard the band play Loverboy’s “Working For The Weekend”. Good job Allstars and good job to Lisa who assited on that tune and many others.
First time I heard the band play “Takin’ Care Of Business” by Bachman Turner Overdrive. It came off well. So did my playing of “Girl Like You” by the Smithereens. Hadn’t played that one in quite a while. Thanks to birthday boy Dean for assting on vocals with AC/DC’s “You Shook Me” and Guns & Roses “Sweet Child Of Mine”.
Got to dance with Camille tonight….

Wool Street May 30th, 2009
Quite a night at Wool Street. I guess this was the come back home from school weekend. Alot of you youngsters out there. Molly I’m gonna publish your picture… The night started out slow but turned into a mass frenzy as the room filled with college age people. That Orange amp is sounding pretty sweet Buddy… And speaking of sounds the guy that was supposed to do sound tonight crapped out at the last minute to do sound at Clearwater Theater. Kudos to my son Eric who saved the day by stepping in and running the board tonight. May it not be the last time you mix audio for the Allstars. Got about 50 good images that I hope to have up by sometime tomorrow.

New Look
Alex & The Allstars website has a new look now. I hope you like it. Sorry I was late with getting the Docks pictures up. My mother passed away early Mother’s Day morning so I had to travel down to Springfield, IL.
